The Paint Job

The Paint Job

Well hello Home Makers I’m Sean Stewart and
today we are going to phase two of this bookshelf which is the finishing so what we have to
do today is we have to do a little bit of sanding with a random orbital sander and that
is in order to get some of this glue squeeze out around these cross members on the top
and bottom of this book shelf we just got to hit that real quick get it real smooth
and then we will be able to proceed to painting and today were gonna be painting with this
Valspar latex enamel black satin and we will be applying that paint with a… what is this?
a six inch foam roller so let’s go ahead and get started… and remember safety first. so something that I failed to mention is that I have these pocket holes screwed into each
side which I need to fill those so that it can be a cleaner look right here on the inside
of these cross members so I got some… I am pretty sure I got some wood filler some…
found it. wood filler. alright while I was waiting for the putty to dry, weather is beautiful
outside so i decided to take the project outside in order to complete it. roll it on there.
…inaudible… push it, there you go. ok here it is the moment of truth there is the bookshelf
freshly painted sitting next to the one that it was… …that I copied and they are pretty much a dead match
moment of truth. Success! It holds a book.
