I’ve been studying and working with people
for over 28 years and we’ve been working with companies and organizations across the globe
and one thing continues to show up is that organizations want better results they have
to improve employee engagement. Gallop does a study every single year that
7 out of 10 people come to work disengaged or actively disengaged. That’s scary, 70% of the workforce. That means that people are not really helping
you drive those results. So when it comes to employee engagement, to
us, what we figured out it comes down to three things, number one is clarity alignment and
purpose number two is building stronger relationships and number three is making sure your people
have the skill-set’s to ensure that one and two are in place. Let me briefly walk you through a few things
here. When it comes to Clarity, alignment and purpose. The first question that has to be answered
is, are our people clear on what it is we are trying to accomplish, do they understand
their expectations? are expectations clear up and down the organization? because if people
don’t have clarity they have confusion and confusion causes frustration and it halts
the ability to drive even better results. Number two is stronger relationships. We believe that organizations are just really
a web of relationships and the stronger the web the higher probability of driving better
outcomes and results for you and relationships come down to three things. They come down to trust, they come down to
respect and they come down to rapport and we help organizations ensure that those three
things are in place to build stronger relationships to drive even better results. And the last thing is is skills. Do people have the skills to make sure one
and two are happening on a daily basis. Whether it’s leadership skills, communication
skills, presentation skills, better teamwork and driving those relationships and interpersonal
skills. Those are the things that we do all across
the globe and were doing even more of it. We find that more and more companies are understanding
this concept and really taking shape and doing what they can do to drive employee engagement
to make sure they drive the results and outcomes they want to get. So we would love to connect with you, check
us out on The Carden Group. See how we can help. Let’s explore the possibilities of improving
you’re employee engagement to drive even better results.
