City of Knoxville Employees Know Your 2020 Benefits

The City of Knoxville relies on its
employees to help Knoxville continue to be the safe, vibrant and growing
community for all of us to live and enjoy. As an employee of the city you
need to be aware of what changes are occurring to your benefits this year as
well as the actions you need to take in order to make sure that you and your
family have continued coverage. The 2020 annual enrollment runs from November 1st through November 30th so now is the time to make changes to your benefit
elections. This year we have great news! Your medical, dental and vision coverage
will not change and there will be no rate increases. New in 2020 you’ll have
a choice in how you want to participate in the My Health wellness program. We’ve
simplified the process to make it easier than ever to participate and receive the
incentives. First, those who complete the screening and questionnaire are
guaranteed a year-long wellness paycheck credit. If you have not already had your
screenings you have until November 30th to complete the screening to qualify for
the 2020 credit. For those not currently participating in
the wellness program now is the time to elect My health in PeopleSoft to
earn this incentive. Call The Center to make an appointment today. You also have the option to follow the current My Health program to earn monthly health
reimbursement account dollars. Remember the Flexible Spending Account and Vacation Sell require new enrollment every year. So make sure to log into PeopleSoft and
make the selection if you want to participate. If you have not already
enrolled in the Sick Leave Bank now is the time. Visit KnoxvilleTN.gov/enroll to download the form. If you have enrolled
in other medical coverage and are choosing to waive the city’s plan, please
submit proof of other coverage to employee benefits before December 31st
to receive $500 in your FSA for 2020. We appreciate your service and understand
you are a key part to the success of our city. The employee benefits staff is
always available to answer questions or help you enroll. Feel free to call or
email us anytime and visit KnoxvilleTN .gov/enroll for more information
