fabulous community and everything it has to offer. There’s so much to do at the
Anthem Community Park, I could go on ALL DAY, but I promise, I’ll try to keep this
short and sweet, so you can get out there and enjoy the park in person! If I don’t

comment below and I’ll get back to you! At the end of this video, I’ll give you
access to our exclusive guide of ’10 Activities you Won’t Want to Miss in
Anthem’. Just in case you’re looking for things to do beyond the Community Park. So, make sure you stick around until the end of this video! The park is
beautifully maintained by the Anthem Community Council. If you want more
information on the Anthem Community Council, check out this video! Alright, so
what can you do at the Anthem Community Park? The Anthem Community Park
is conveniently located right in the heart of Anthem at 41703 N Gavilan Peak Parkway. It’s open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily
and it spans over 60 acres. #1: Play, play and play some more at the
Adventure and Discovery Playgrounds! These playgrounds are open from 8 a.m.
to sunset daily. #2: Cool off at the Splash Pad. If you’re coming to the
Anthem Community Park during the warmer months of the year, be sure to pack a
swimsuit. You’ll find the Splash Pad inside the Adventure Playground. #3: Go Fishing! Yep, you heard me right, I said FISHING, in the middle of the
desert! The Anthem Community Park has catch and
release fishing lakes. Pack your gear and find a quiet spot. Please note, that only
barbless hooks are permitted in these lakes.
Also, if you forget any supplies there’s an Ace Hardware just across the street.
#4: Show off your moves at the skate park. The skate park is open from 7
a.m. to 9:45 p.m. daily. Please remember to bring a helmet and other
protective gear if you’re going to be using the skate park. #5: Play
Hockey. The only ice you’ll find at this rink would be in a cup, but the park does
have awesome rinks for meeting up with friends and playing some ball hockey.
#6: Play Pickleball. In January 2019, ten brand new pickleball courts were opened at the Anthem Community Park. I’ve
never tried pickleball but now that we have these state-of-the-art facilities I
think I’d better get out there and give it a try. #7: Reserve the
Amphitheater or a Ramada. The ramadas are a perfect place for a picnic lunch or
relaxing in the shade. These can be reserved in advance, online. I’ll put a
link to the reservation site in the description box below. #8: Shoot
some hoops at the basketball courts. #9: Bump, Set, and Spike at the
sand volleyball courts. #10: Go for a train ride! The Daisy Mountain Railroad
is fun for kids and adults alike. With 2,800 feet of track, this is the perfect
way to see the park and scope out your next activity.
Be sure to check their hours and prices using the link in the description box
below. #11: Pay your respects at the Anthem Veterans Memorial. This
monument is dedicated to honor the service and sacrifice of our country’s
Armed Forces. Each year on November 11th at 11:11AM, the sun’s rays pass through the
ellipses of the five Armed Services pillars to form a solar spotlight on the
glass mosaic of the Great Seal of the United States. If you haven’t attended
this service before, we strongly encourage you to check it out. #12: Get the team together and reserve a field. Whether you play
baseball, soccer, softball, or just need an open multi-use field to practice, you can
reserve all of these in advance online. #13: Stretch your legs on the
walking trails. You’ll find plenty of walking trails throughout the Anthem
Community Park. These trails are perfect for a leisurely stroll or for taking you
from one activity to the next. So, there you have it! What do you think? Are you
going to come to the Anthem Community Park this weekend? What activity would you be
most interested in? Now, I haven’t forgotten that I promised you a copy of
our guide: ’10 Activities you won’t want to miss in Anthem, Arizona’.
