Welcome to Cloud-In-Hand: Feature Highlight
where we focus on some of the different ways Cloud-In-Hand can help you manage your mobile
workforce. Today we’ll highlight an easy way to manage
your database of employee ID or access cards using an iOS device like an iPad or an iPhone. RFID enabled cards are increasingly common. They use technology such as HID PROX, iClass,
AWID, and more. They have a wide range of applications from
opening doors, unlocking computers, and even time clocking. Cloud-In-Hand Mobile Attendance and the idChamp
RS3 allow you to use these employee cards on any mobile device to take attendance at
meetings, certify training, or verify access or identity. Of course, new people get hired or employees
lose a card so your database might not always be exactly up to date. Cloud-In-Hand makes it easy to add or update
employee data right from your mobile device. So here, I’ll scan a valid card. You can see the data pops up but let’s say
they get issued a new card. Now when they attend the next meeting this
new info may not yet be in your system. So here I’ll scan the new card, you’ll see
we get the invalid scan prompt, I’ll choose update. I can tap on the name or search the name and
it records the data. Now I’ll hit upload to sync and you can see
when I tap that new card the correct data appears. Cloud-In-Hand can be used for a wide range
of applications including attendance and other business apps. We’ll link some examples at the end of the
video. Contact Serialio.com to learn more about how
Mobile RFID and Mobile access control can help you improve your business. Thanks for watching.
