Brett Stevenson, Executive Director, Wood River Bicycle Coalition: Brett’s upbringing in rural south-central Idaho instilled in her a love for the natural world and quest for outdoor adventures. She received a B.A. in Environmental Studies from University of Colorado and a M.S. in Environmental Studies from University of Montana. During graduate school, Brett spent the summers leading teenage trail crews in Yellowstone and leading youth wilderness therapy in the Gallatin National Forest. In 2005 she returned to her hometown to work as a county planner. Following five years with the local government, Brett worked for Idaho Conservation League before coming the Wood River Bike Coalition. The highlight of her current work for WRBC is building bridges between the conservation community and human powered recreation, namely mountain bikers.
