Fed Up (2014) is the new documentary film that examines America’s obesity epidemic and the food industry’s role in aggravating it. It will screen every night Oct. 8-12 at the Jackson Hole Cinemas during the 2014 SHIFT Festival.
This riveting documentary from the producers of An Inconvenient Truth has been nominated for the Sundance Film Festival, is a New York Times Critics Pick, and has been called “The movie that will change the way people think about eating.” (USA Today)
Dr. Marion Nestle, who is featured in the film and will be delivering SHIFT’s keynote speech at The People’s Banquet on Friday, Oct. 10, writes on her Food Politics blog that Fed Up is “a stunningly hard-hitting exposé of the food industry’s role in promoting unhealthy diets and childhood obesity. It spares nothing in showing the devastating effects of obesity on kids.”
Fed Up will be playing at 4:30 PM, Wed., Oct. 8-Fri., Oct. 10, at the Movie Works. Tickets are available at the movie box office.
